The Lubrizol Corporation’s chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) piping systems business will display its CPVC technology for plumbing, fire sprinkler and industrial piping systems at the 2013 Chinaplas International Exhibition this week. The group will profile its FlowGuard Pipe & Fittings, BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler Systems and Corzan Industrial Systems for use in residential, commercial and industrial applications as well as the latest in polymer systems from the Estane and LifeScience Polymers product lines.
The Lubrizol CPVC family of products includes the FlowGuard pipe and fittings range. The plumbing system is said to meet industry standards for both residential and commercial applications.
Also in the range are the BlazeMaster fire sprinkler systems, a non-metallic fire sprinkler system. Recommended for use in residential and light commercial applications, BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler Systems are said to offer strong flame and smoke resistance characteristics, and do not sustain combustion.
Additionally, the group’s Corzan industrial systems reportedly meet the demands of commercial plumbing and industrial environments by using high-performance, corrosion-resistant CPVC polymer technology.
“Our presence at the Chinaplas exhibit further demonstrates our role, as it relates to the future in plastics and rubber,” said John Nunnari, General Manager, Lubrizol CPVC piping systems and materials business. “We are excited to showcase our superior CPVC technology, as well as our commitment to driving the industry forward through innovation and expertise.”
