CANNON, an Italian plastics processing manufacturer, has announced an order from a Chinese appliance maker for a polyurethane foaming plant.
Haier, a cold appliance manufacturer, has purchased a Cannon Vacuum Assisted Injection (V.A.I.) foaming equipment line, which also uses Dow’s PASCAL technology.
The V.A.I system claims to offer increased productivity, optimised distribution of foam and substantial foam savings.
The first plant working with Cannon’s V.A.I. technology is producing Class A refrigerators since 2011, and another plant has been in operation since September 2012.
The delivery and start up of the plant is expected for the second half of this year.
