New Series of Small-Scale Machines

The focal points of Engel’s presentation at Fakuma, on Stand Number 5204 in Hall A5, will be two new series of injection moulding machines: the fourth generation of Engel’s tiebarless machines, represented by the new small-scale Engel Victory machine and the new Engel Speed series of fast-cycling machines. With the Engel Victory 200/50 with 500 kN clamping unit, the company will be showing a representative example of the latest developments of its range of tiebarless injection moulding machines. The new machine concept not only highlights Engel’s continued trust in the versatility and innovation potential of the tiebarless clamping unit but also offers a considerably improved ratio of platen area to clamping force. The new series of the small-scale tiebarless machines will be available in three sizes ranging from 300 to 800 kN. The second new series — Engel Speed — combines high speed and high performance for continuous operation in mass production applications. This new generation of machines is the product of Engel’s consistent strategy of providing the market with high-quality and absolutely competitive fast-cycling machines for the production of thin-walled parts and packaging containers. The demonstration machine at Fakuma — an Engel Speed 275/55 equipped with a six-cavity mould from System Komplettsysteme, Germany, will be producing yoghurt goblets in PP.
