A celebration is in order. Summit Systems is celebrating seven years in partnership with Zerma this month.
Today (May 22nd 2015), Summit Systems is celebrating its seventh anniversary in partnership with global size reduction specialist, Zerma. Since their partnership in 2008, the companies have united over 200 companies with 400 Zerma granulators, shredders and pulverisers. Today, Zerma produces more than 50 size reduction models, including the widest range of plastic granulators the world has to offer.
Zerma’s 70-year track record has enabled it to accumulate an extensive range of world class granulators. Products suit a variety of niches from compact, soundproofed models designed to integrate into existing operations, through slow speed, low noise and dust beside the press applications, to heavy duty models for tough recycling challenges.
Mike Jordan, Managing Director at Summit Systems said: “The main reason our clients choose to granulate on-site is to save money. By cutting out the middle man they can reduce the cost of purge recycling by as much as 75 per cent. Zerma granulators are more affordable than many other models on the market which means payback is reduced, and the huge variety of models lets customers choose a product that very closely matches their needs.”
Models such as the GSH are extremely energy efficient saving as much as 70 per cent on electricity when compared with similar products. Trevor Marr, Commercial Director at thermoform specialist, TDX is impressed with the performance of his GSH Zerma granulator.
“The purchase of the Zerma GSH700/1000 Heavy Duty Granulator has enabled TDX to significantly increase its throughput in its ability to collect and granulate PET scrap material. In terms of output and quality of material produced this has exceeded all expectations."
Summit Systems provides the reassurance behind the Zerma range via a full suite of integration and after sales services, backed by a technical team holding several centuries of combined experience.
The same quality treatment is offered for every Summit Systems installation with full project management services. Products remain under supplier guarantees accompanied by the Summit Systems promise to let clients try before they buy. Preventative maintenance contracts are available to ensure kit performs to its maximum lifetime potential.
Roman Guenther, Managing Director at Zerma Thailand, said: “Summit Systems maintains a very close relationship with its customers, which has provided us with significant insight into what really drives manufacturing processes. This has helped us to produce products specific to client circumstances. We have enjoyed a strong, mutually beneficial collaboration over the past seven years, which we anticipate for many years to come.”
