The key to success is the ability to adapt to changes in the market to better address fresh challenges.
This is why global leader in the manufacture of energy-efficient, high-performance extruders and
turnkey extrusion lines battenfeld-cincinnati has realigned its organisational structure to better position itself for finding solutions for a shifting industry.
The new structure creates strategic and global responsibilities: under the CEO of the group, Gerold Schley, Michael von Cappeln will act as CFO, Dr Henning Stieglitz as CTO and Grant Flaharty as CSO. The production competence centers will be headed by Toni Bernards (China), Dirk Eikmeyer (Germany), Michael von Cappeln (Austria) and Danny Gamez (US). The global sales network will be operating in three main regions – America, Europe/Africa/Near Middle East and Asia – and be led by Regional Sales Directors.
Schley explained: "Thanks to the new structure, we are able to support our customers worldwide even better and to implement technical innovations faster.
"battenfeld-cincinnati laid the foundation five years ago by focusing on our customers’ end
products and setting up local production competence centers. By global realignment of important areas such as Sales and Technology/R&D, we will continue to further develop and improve our solution competence on a global scale."
Flaherty added that providing customers with the best solutions to meet their individual needs remains at the heart of battenfeld-cincinnati's mission.
"More and more customers have production plants in several countries, and more and more often on different continents as well. The new structure will make it much easier for us to implement global projects and thus offer our customers optimal package deals: from counseling and delivery of machines all the way to service and spare parts supply," Flaharty noted.
