BOY is bringing a hat-trick of injection moulding machinery innovation to Plastpol this month.

BOY
At this year's major Eastern European event, which will take place from May 26th-29th in Kielce, BOY's Polish distributor Wadim Plast Sp.j. will present a BOY 25 E (250 kN clamping force) in hall F. There, the machine will produce highly transparent light conductors.
A further highlight from BOY will be the compact space-saving BOY XS. This performance will be completed with the BOY 2C XS – an injection unit for multi-component injection moulding.
Drive and design
Based on long-time experience with this series, the BOY 25 E is a very versatile injection moulding machine thanks to its attractive equipment versions and small footprint. With the option of 'differential injection', extremely high injection speeds are possible. Thin-walled parts with long flow paths can be produced without any problems.
Equipped with the energy-saving servo drive, the BOY 25 E is an efficient and sustainable injection moulding machine, as the servo drive offers higher dynamics and clearly noise reduction, in addition to power economy.
Small footprint, big efficiency
The smallest BOY injection moulding machine, the BOY XS, will also be on show at Plastpol. With 100 kN clamping force, the smallest BOY machine offers highest precision in minimum space. The system will prove its abilities by moulding osteosynthesis plates (medical-technical component for fixation of fractures) made of ABS on-site. The BOY XS impresses with its user friendliness through the innovative Procan ALPHA 2 and the multi-patented control has a 'smart' operating system with multi-touch function.
Two become one
The compact BOY 2C XS can be mounted on a multitude of injection moulding machines with a few hand movements, providing a more cost-efficient start into multi-component injection moulding for conventional injection moulding machines. The injection unit has its own control and integrated hydraulic drive. Different injection unit sizes allow stroke volumes up to 76,5 cm³ and injection pressures up to 3128 bar. This exhibit will also be equipped with the modern Procan ALPHA 2 control.
