Business as usual for RadiciGroup
All the production and sales companies of RadiciGroup are operating regularly
Despite the exceptional situation caused by the spreading of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Bergamo-based Italian chemicals manufacturer is working harder than ever to guarantee and optimise the continuity of business activities.
With regards to production workers, RadiciGroup officials have adopted the precautions prescribed by the competent authorities, in co-ordination with the doctors and health officials in charge and the individuals responsible for the Bergamo site’s prevention and protection services, to safeguard their health without interrupting work activities.
Likewise, the company’s sales network is fully active and, due to the group’s advanced technology, continues to operate promptly and efficiently, as well as in total safety.
A press statement read: ‘We feel especially close to the communities that have been hit the hardest by this situation and hope that everything will return to normal as quickly as possible. All the business areas of the Group (Specialty Chemicals, High Performance Polymers and Synthetic Fibres & Nonwovens) will remain at your disposal through the usual communication channels and will keep you informed of any future developments on provisions concerning COVID-19.’
Dr Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe, said: “Italian authorities are implementing measures to prevent onward transmission that align with the containment strategy currently being implemented globally. To do so, Italian leadership has had to make difficult decisions, placing health above economic prosperity. These have been tough but correct decisions.”
