CRE and PCE webinar speakers named
Dr Claudia Pudack is Manager Customer Solutions and joined Sulzer in 2013. Based in Winterthur, she frequently travels to the test centre near Basel, Switzerland, to co-ordinate the crystallisation tests. Dr Pudack has 10 years of experience in changing positions within the industrial R&D environment. She received a diploma in Geology from the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (Germany) and holds a PhD in geochemistry from the ETH Zürich (Switzerland).
Dr Mattia Comotto has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Genoa (Italy). In 2016 he joined Rina Consulting, one of the largest Italian engineering consulting firm, working on several European co-funded projects in the area of bio-based and circular economy.
In 2018 Mattia joined Aquafil. He is currently in charge of a variety of projects in the area of Sustainability and Circular Economy. He also represents Aquafil in many alliances and associations working on textiles, recycling, circular economy legislation and standards development.
Antonella Annunziata started her career in the family owned company. After five years she became CEO of the new start-up Madreperla s.p.a, which specialises in the production of cast acrylic sheets. Later, Madreperla developed a new method of production of methyl methacrylate monomer (MMA) from acrylic scraps using chemical recycling. Madreperla contributes the circular economy by using the ‘second life MMA’ for their own production of cast acrylic sheets.
The webinar will highlight the major progresses made and the technical and environmental benefits obtained in the field of depolymerisation of plastic waste materials.
