The annual EuroMold trade fair will this year boast a fresh new concept, devised by event organiser DEMAT.
Held at the Messe in Frankfurt from November 25th-28th, the leading mould-making and tooling, and design and application development showcase will boast a new show structure, which was presented by DEMAT Managing Directors Diana Schnabel and Eberhard Döring at the Euromold pre-fair press conference on July 3rd.
This year's outing anticipates more than 1,000 exhibitors, along with an increase in international representation, with around 40 countries being represented at the winter event.
Usually, the bulk of exhibiting companies is taken up by mould-makers and tool manufacturers, while there is already a very high level of return bookings from former exhibitors, in addition to new bookings from first-time exhibitors. The number of exhibitors making their EuroMold debut in 2014 stands at 88 from 19 different countries, emphasising the internationality of the leading trade show.
EuroMold in 2014 is experiencing a particular rise in the number of first-time exhibitors from Germany, Portugal, China, the Netherlands and the UK, in addition to an increase in the number of joint transnational stands run by various associations and organisations.
In 2014 EuroMold will have a new hall structure, which will spatially reflect the synergies between the fields of mould-making and tool production, and additive manufacturing in Hall 8.0, which is where the Stark im Formenbau mit Generativer Fertigung (Strength in mould-making with additive manufacturing) theme park will be set up. This is where various machine manufacturers and tool producers will demonstrate the possibilities of additive manufacturing for the more efficient manufacture of tools, with the help of practical examples.
The connection between lightweight construction and mould-making will be demonstrated in detail in a special exhibition as well, while the CAE Forum - which deals with computer-aided engineering - considerably enhances the area of design and engineering. This is an ideal presentation platform for the increasing number of engineering service provider exhibitors at EuroMold in 2014.
Moreover, the range of information will be extended to include new special exhibitions, conferences, workshops, seminars and forums. One such innovation will be the EuroMold 3D-School, EuroMold's own version of TCT Bright Minds, the 3D printing classroom pioneered at TCT Show + Personalize by TCT + Personalize, 3D Systems and Black Country Atelier.
EPPM is looking forward to attending EuroMold this November and will be publishing exhibitors' news and announcements in the lead up to and during the event. Please send your updates to rose.brooke@rapidnews.com
