The Friedrichshafen-hosted event will shine the spotlight on the streamlined processing of polyurethane, foam plastics and composite materials, which offer high product stability and weight savings.
Taking place from October 16th-20th 2018, Fakuma will also showcase how coatings, profiles, furniture components, consumer goods and automotive parts can be efficiently and economically produced from plastics. More than 1,800 technology leaders are expected to present their international offerings at the 2018 edition of the trade fair.
Specialised machines and tools are required for the processing and production of lightweight materials. Fully automated robots and presses, various types of CNC machining centres and vacuum presses for the production of moulded parts are just a few of the solutions that will be exhibited at Fakuma 2018.
Outside of lightweighting, Fakuma always provides a comprehensive overview of all technologies and processes, as well as the equipment required for processing plastics by means of injection moulding, extrusion, thermoforming and additive manufacturing.
