Plastics colour specialist, Finke, has been awarded its third silver medal in recognition of its commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The EcoVadis rating confirms that Finke meets the criteria for the four themes of environment, labour, fair business practices and sustainable procurement required by the CSR analysis system.
Finke, which is Headquartered in Wuppertal, Germany, and is one of the largest medium-sized manufacturers of pigment preparations for the plastics processing industry in Europe, has provided evidence that the issues are anchored in the company's policy and that there are concrete measures in place to comply with these commitments and to put them into practice.
Finke was awarded the silver rating for the first time in April 2018. Since then, it has received two more silver ratings in the annual EcoVadis assessment.
“Sustainability and social responsibility are values on which we base our actions. After all, a responsible social attitude and sustainable handling of resources and the environment are a prerequisite for long-term economic success,” commented Felix Finke, Managing Director of Karl Finke GmbH & Co. KG.
“Many companies therefore attach importance to transparency with regard to sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) when deciding on a particular supplier. The certification provides proof of our commitment along global value and supply chains.”
