Injection moulding manufacturer Haitian International is set to expand its site in Ebermannsdorf, a €10 million (£7.3 million) investment that will enable the facility to more than double its production capacities.
The expansion will allow both Zhafir and Haitian machines to be assembled there in the future.
Uwe Baer, Manager at Haitian International Germany, said: “We are firmly convinced, which is also confirmed by our daily experience, that the consistency of our product strategy means that we have our finger firmly on the pulse.
“Through Technology to the Point, we are able to offer our customers resource-saving solutions for 80 per cent of all applications.”
Haitian Europe’s former team has been working in Ebermannsdorf since the beginning of 2015 and the German site is responsible for complete operations in Europe.
Departments for manufacturing, assembly and customisation are located at the German site and the expansion will see the addition of a new production hall for Haitian brand machines.
Xiang Linfa, General Manager of the new German subsidiary, said: “With the construction of the new production hall, Haitian International Germany will be able to offer Zhafir and Haitian Machines for the European market, mainly out of Ebermannsdorf.
“Thus we ensure greater availability and can react to customer needs even more quickly.”
