The German Design Council has honoured KraussMaffei in the German Brand Awards 2020 in the category 'Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation of Brand Design'.
This places KraussMaffei's corporate design among the five best in Germany.
KraussMaffei’s new brand design unites the corporate identities of what used to be three separate companies. The resultant brand was presented in a short video clip, which also won an award.
The video clip showcases the look of the new brand with its flexible, futuristic polygon and the new colour scheme.
This is the second time that the Munich-based company has won a German Brand Award. In 2018, KraussMaffei received the distinguished German Brand Award in the category 'Brand Extension of the Year' for its corporate film '180 Years of KraussMaffei'.
"We're delighted to receive this award from the German Design Council," said Marion Sommerwerck, Global Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing at KraussMaffei who is responsible for the company's worldwide brand presence.
"This German Brand Award is further proof our brand strategy’s success. KraussMaffei's new corporate design has set a new standard in the field - not just in our industry, but also when compared with many well-known German companies.”
