For the financial year 2014-15, Next Generation Recyclingmaschinen (NGR) has recorded satisfying results in spite of what the company has described as an "unfavourable investment environment".

Solid demand in the first half of the 12-month period was followed by a cooler second half due to delayed investment decisions resulting in extended lead times. Nevertheless, sales volumes developed as expected, with the total number of systems in operation worldwide climbing to more than 800.
NGR's new PET-improvement process LSP (Liquid State Polycondensation) - which forms the basis for the P:REACT machine series - has also been well received. The first machine has been installed successfully at a PET-fibre manufacturer with two further machines being ordered recently in the US.
P:REACT improves the properties of PET in a continuous process within minutes (controlled IV-improvement, decontamination to 100 per cent-food contact).
"The success of this market introduction is directly linked to our permanent strive in meeting the demands of the plastic recycling industry and demonstrates the enormous innovation power of NGR," said Thomas Pichler, CTO of NGR.
