Visitors to NPE2015 are being given every chance to get the most out of their time at 'the most comprehensive plastics event in the world' thanks to the wealth of resources available to them there.
Efforts made by NPE show management, the US government and the expo's host city of Orlando, Florida, will help international visitors to navigate 2015's outing, along with SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association, which produces the triennial event.
From March 23rd-27th 2015, NPE2015 is anticipated to attract professionals from across the entire plastics processing spectrum from some 120 countries. International visitors can now go online to register for the show, make reservations at hotels where there are special rates for attendees, and access key information about the event, visas and things to do in Orlando.
SPI is preparing resources and amenities for use by international visitors at the show itself, including an International Trade Center at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, where NPE2015 will take place.
Gene Sanders, SPI senior Vice-President of Trade Shows and Conferences, said: "International visitors will come to NPE2015 because it is a showplace for all the latest technologies and is situated at the crossroads of global trade, with exhibitors, conference presenters and attendees from around the world.
"It will be a unique opportunity to gain access to the giant marketplace of the Americas, which stretches from Canada to Chile and has annual plastics shipments in excess of $600 billion (£380 billion, €484 billion)."
NPE2015 will include the NPE trade show, with 2,000 exhibiting companies; an extensive agenda of conferences; and multiple special programmes focusing on 3D printing, recycling and other matters of intense interest in the industry. About 40 per cent of the exhibitors will come directly from outside the US, as will at least one-quarter of the 60,000 visitors. Attendance from Latin America is expected to be the greatest in NPE history.
