Asiamold’s seventh edition will open next week, offering a fully comprehensive selection of in-demand mould and die solutions for manufacturing-based firms. Taking place from 24 – 26 September, over 350 exhibitors have reserved 20,000 m2 of booth space at the show’s home, Poly World Trade Centre Expo in Guangzhou.
In addition to China, countries and regions being represented by exhibitors include Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, The Netherlands, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK and the US. The fair’s organisers are anticipating professional buyers coming from manufacturing specialties such as automobiles, electronics, home appliances, aerospace technology, ship building, telecommunication, consumer goods and medical devices.
Mr Louis Leung, Deputy General Manager, Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Ltd commented: “Visitors to the show can expect to meet some great exhibitors this year. We have worked hard over the past year to identify the biggest trends in mould and die technology as well as the top solutions and products buyers want, and I believe the 2013 show has something to offer to all players in the industry.”
Every manufacturer requires moulded products at some stage of production. To meet their needs, the 2013 edition has gathered some of the most prominent mould-makers both from China and overseas to offer products and solutions that are most in demand from manufacturers across a range of industries. Some of the noteworthy brands include PE Mould, Ka Shui, NIKKO YOZAI, Atom Precision Mold Parts and Lip Sheng Precision. Areas of specialty covered by the 2013 show’s exhibitors will include mould-making and tooling, pattern-making and prototyping, rapid prototyping and tooling, machine tools and many more.
In addition, this year’s show highlights include the increased participation of 3D printing suppliers. Allowing manufacturers to design prototypes and custom-made products with near-perfect precision, 3D printing is regarded as the future growth area of mould and die technology. Asiamold has been following this growing specialty, and has brought together its largest group to-date of 3D printing firms to exhibit at the 2013 show including Hunan Farsoon High-Tech Co Ltd; Beijing TierTime Technology Co Ltd and Flashforge Technology Co Ltd.
Another key highlight to the fair is two specialty zones for bearing and automotive mould suppliers. The zones offer attendees the chance to source two of the most popular product types at the show from dedicated areas with a wide range of brands. Some of companies exhibiting within these two zones are Hangzhou Wellmax Bearing, Yakeer Bearing, E-Mould Plastic, A-One Metal and Gree Daikin.
