More than 550 companies have confirmed their presence within the first enrolment deadline for PLAST 2021, which will take place in Milan, Italy, from 4-7 May next year.

Positive participation trend for PLAST 2021
An analysis of the figures relating to exhibitors who have registered – just under 400 – shows an improvement compared to the figures of three years ago, with an increase in the total exhibition area booked of 1.5%.
The organisers are encouraged by the result, especially considering ongoing international tension and concern affecting trade, investments, and the planning of promotional activities, on the part of all companies, including those operating in the plastics and rubber sector
Companies can still register for PLAST 2021 up until the second and final deadline of 10 May 2020, benefiting from a 10 per cent discount on the participation fees and priority assignment in the respective exhibition halls.
The event will see the participation of leaders from multinational companies who will contribute their experiences on sustainability and circular economy in the plastics sector.
In addition, the show and its programme of collateral events will include other occasions dedicated to the in-depth exploration of specific application areas such as automotive, building, medical products, and agriculture.
PLAST will again host three satellite shows focusing on excellence in rubber, additive manufacturing and innovative plastic materials.
In the meantime, the organisational Secretariat of PLAST 2021 is continuing an intense promotional campaign. Following a tour of trade fairs in Saudi Arabia, India and Russia in January, the promotional team will be present at PLAST ALGER (Algiers, 9-11 March); PLASTPRINTPACK NIGERIA (Lagos, 24-26 March), PLASTPOL (Kielce, 19-22 May), EQUIPLAST (Barcelona, 2-6 June), PLASTPRINTPACK ETHIOPIA (Addis Ababa, 3-5 June), ARGENPLAS (Buenos Aires, 8-11 June), and FIP (Lyon, 16-19 June).
