ProTec
ProTec Polymer Processing is unveiling two new hardware offerings this week at Fakuma.
The first of these is in the field of material drying, namely the stationary, energy-efficient modular drying system - the new SOMOS D. The performance and flexibility of this rotary desiccant system is demonstrated using the SOMOS D500 (dry air throughput of up to 500 m3/h) and two connected modular drying hopper tables - one single table with a 600-litre hopper (MT 600) and one double table with MT 300 (300 I) and an MT 100 (100 I).
The second is SOLIDO - ProTec Polymer Processing's 'premium LFT for lightweight construction'.
SOLIDO is a production system customised for the economical manufacturing of high quality, long-fibre reinforced thermoplastics (LFT). The process can be used to manufacture a broad range of composite materials with varied polymer matrices and different types of fibre reinforcement. These composite materials with fibred of pellet length (with lengths of 77 mm to 25 mm being the industry 'norm') are created using the pultrusion process.
ProTec Polymer Processing is exhibiting on stand 3119 in Hall B3 at Fakuma.
