Arburg has welcomed a total of 67 new apprentices and students from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) this month.
In under 70 years more than 1,800 apprentices have completed apprenticeships at Arburg.
Renate Keith, Managing Partner with responsibility for Human Resources Management, in her welcoming speech, said: "You can look forward to award-winning training."
Keith went on to explain that at the beginning of 2018, Arburg became the first training company in Baden-Württemberg to obtain triple quality certification and that the 2,000 square metre Training Centre offers the best possible facilities.

On 3 September 2018, Managing Partner Renate Keith (2nd row, 2nd from right) welcomed the 67 new apprentices and DHBW students together with Georg Anzer (4th row, left), Director of Human Resources, and the Arburg training team.
Having already completed several internships as an industrial mechanic, Nikolai Haier, 19, says "I was convinced by the familial atmosphere and the exciting activities offered by the training programme.".
Sandro Bossert, 24, who is starting a course of study under the DHBW scheme in the field of industrial engineering, has already successfully completed his training as an electronics technician for automation technology at Arburg, explained: "After completing my traineeship, I worked for one and a half years within the company and then completed my training as a technician on a full-time course. There was one thing I still lacked: the business component. That's why I'm particularly looking forward to the practical phase in the Project Department."
To ensure a smooth start to theory-based professional training, the newcomers took part in an introductory week, getting to know each other, the company and its products.
Arburg is already looking for interested and committed young people to start traineeships in 2019.
