Sulzer’s advanced dispensing systems on show at JEC World 2020
The products show the company’s commitment to offer key solutions that address current and future customer needs in a variety of sectors, such as automotive, renewable energy, aerospace and construction.
At JEC World, industry leaders and decision makers will meet to discuss the latest trends across the entire value chain and developing designs to address increasingly demanding applications.
Less plastic waste
Something of interest for anyone concerned about the sustainability of adhesive packaging and dispensing systems will be MIXPAC ecopaCC collapsible cartridges from Sulzer. This solution for two-component adhesives and sealants greatly reduces waste due to its innovative design. In effect, ecopaCC cartridges compress and reduce their size as the two adhesive components are dispensed. As a result, it is possible to reduce adhesive packaging waste volume up to 82 per cent.
Precision pneumatic dispensing
Sulzer’s latest generation of highly accurate DP2X pneumatic two-component dispensers, the DP2X, is built around strong and lightweight aluminium frames and is designed for performance and reliability. Up to 35 oer cent lighter than comparable solutions, this solution enables users to perform challenging and precise applications for longer periods.
Battery power offers best of both worlds
Sulzer will also display two new cordless 18V battery-powered dispensers that help end-users extrude accurate amounts of adhesives and sealants, reducing waste while improving operational efficiency. The COX ElectraFlow Dual Ultra 600 1:1 and ElectraFlow Plus units are suited to operators using high volumes of sealant or two-component epoxy products.
Sulzer’s experts will be on hand throughout the event to discuss the different dispensing systems and how they can support specific needs and requirements within the composites sector.
