Managing Partner Juliane Hehl said: "After such a long time with no in-person events, in June 2021 we want to once again introduce our customers to innovations and impressive applications for the plastic processing industry ‘in living colour. Although we have pushed on with our hybrid and digital events really effectively over the past few months, personal contact with our customers is extremely important to us and that is not going to change. That’s why we are doing everything in our power to ensure our world-renowned and respected Technology Days will this year be a successful and exciting in-person event."
Arburg Technology Days has been a constant in the plastics calendar since 1999. This year’s event was postponed from its traditional March date to early summer. Technology Days 2021 will once again be all about ‘hands-on technology combined with personal contact’. Although, this year’s attendees will have to register in advance.
Attendees will be separated into small groups, each with an individual advisor, who will take them on a tour round the company at a specific time. This system will make sure there will not be too many visitors on site at any one time. In making these plans, Arburg remains confident that the epidemiological outlook will have changed for the better by June 2021, backed up by the vaccination programme that is already underway.
Arburg will put in place a consistent and well-proven safety and hygiene concept. The wide, open spaces at Arburg head office mean there is plenty of room to present a large number of exhibits while maintaining the necessary distance. Machines, turnkey systems, and digital products and services are spread out throughout the Customer Center, the Arburg Prototyping Center, the Efficiency Arena, the Training Center and the assembly halls.
The Efficiency Arena, focusing on arburgGREENworld and arburgXworld, is expected to be very popular again in 2021. A range of application examples relating to the circular economy, conservation of resources, digitalisation and the customer portal will also be on show.
