Austrian machine manufacturer ARTEC has given its recycling system a redesign in order to better address the increasing pressure on the plastics recycling market, as demand continues to grow.

ARTEC
ARTEC has established a very strong position in the post-consumer plastics recycling technology sphere, having built more than 250 systems since 2000. The new-look machine is now even better equipped to processing plastics with higher degrees of contamination and moisture content, allowing for agricultural film and trimmings from post-industrial film production or PET packaging and EPS material in all its forms.
The modular system consists of six units in different sizes and capacities, which can be combined flexibly based on specific recycling tasks.
With its modular design, any desired production capacity from 100 to 2,500 kg/hr (220 to 5,500 lbs/hr) can be achieved. The best modular arrangement to accommodate the raw material feedstock and final quality requirements can be determined by trials at ARTEC's facility in Austria.
