Held in the Great Hall of Milan Polytechnic, a press conference introduced the all new MADE Competence Center, led by the Polytechnic of Milan and of which Comau is a partner company.

Also a member of the FCA Group and a global leader in industrial automation, a Comau representative has been appointed as a member of the MADE Board of Directors.
Comau CEO Mauro Fenzi said: “The participation in the Milan Competence Center demonstrates Comau's commitment to innovation and the implementation of projects capable of contributing to the development of our country's industrial system.
“By making its expertise, technologies and advanced processes for Industry 4.0 available, Comau aims to support companies in the acquisition of production processes and tools, enabling the Smart Factory in an increasingly incisive manner.”
MADE is a public-private partnership formed of 39 partners from business and academia. its aim is to provide businesses, particularly SMEs, with three specific sevices: orientation, training and support for the implementation of innovation projects for Industry 4.0.
MADE represents one of the highly specialised innovation centres organised by Italy’s National Industry 4.0 Plan, promoted and co-funded by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.
Comau supports the Milan Competence Center through the provision of innovative products such as the MATE exoskeleton, traditional and collaborative robots (such as AURA, and the e.DO educational robot, amongst others.
These technologies are provided with the support and knowhow of Comau’s experts.
