Colines
On show at K will be the new ALLrollEX line from Colines, which offers web widths ranging from 1000 mm-4500 mm. Particular emphasis during development was placed on the winding quality of very thin films (down to 6 µm).
The group’s Polycast lines for CPP film, have been fine tuned thanks to a new turret winder up to 1200 mm in diameter.
The Bubble Guard Board line allows processors to incorporate in-line lamination of several materials for a diversification of applications. The line can produce alveolar sheets from 250g/m2 up to 4000g/m2.
Thanks to continuous R&D work, Colines has recently obtained new results in all sectors of hygienic film technology, from breathable to embossed, with cast as well as blown film extrusion.
The Diaperblown line, for example, is reported to be the first 5-layer blown line in the world with in-line embossing able to produce over 500 kg/h of film with “extraordinary mechanical properties”, claims the group. This application has enabled an Italian film extruder to improve its position in the competitive market of hygienic film, which is rapidly expanding, especially in developing countries.
Finally, combining 40 years of experience in air bubble technology, having introduced the lines with high output (over 3000 mm of web width), PP air bubble and 10-layer technology with PA, Colines is now manufacturing a 14-layer (7+7) coextrusion line for the production of a barrier air-bubble film with very high resistance.
