Coupled Z.PACK 4 with Z.PACK 5 blister packing machines.
Efficient high-tech solutions thanks to the intelligent linking of standard components have for many years given packaging machines by ZAHORANSKY the technological edge with cost-effective, energy-efficient and resource-saving applications.
Developing and realising intelligent packaging solutions and the use of standard components developed in-house with robust, linear transfer systems in modular design are the quality guarantee of the ZAHORANSKY packaging machines.
Customised, individual problem solutions with ultimate product quality and unit capacity and enhanced economic efficiency is one of the central elements of ZAHORANSKY’s corporate strategy.
The most recent example of this coherent concept is a system for making double blisters. This fully automated unit is based on a Z.PACK 4 and a Z.PACK 5 blister packaging machine. The outstanding feature of both machines is their compact type of construction, making them the first choice if efficiency and price-performance ratio are decisive.
In spite of the compact design, best accessibility to the individual stations is guaranteed through the large, open safety doors.
On the Z.PACK 4 the upper parts of the double blisters are produced.
At the end of the intermittent process one cycle of the blister machine is cut and turned by 180° with a standardised linear unit. Following, the controlled and orientated blister is transferred with a shuttle and a Pick & Place unit to the Z.PACK 5 machine. Then, the close-fitting half-shells are put on the filled bottom shells that have been meanwhile produced by the Z.PACK 5 blister unit.
Both blister halves are in correct position and will be sealed by an ultrasonic sealing unit, the heart of the system. Compared to conventional sealing technologies, this innovative application of the ultrasonic technology reduces energy consumption significantly.
A further reason to use this technology here.
The target-specific use of the sealing heat prevents the usual thermal effect on the packaged product.
Again compared with the conventional high frequency technology, the very small offcut of just a few millimetres helps to reduce waste by almost two thirds which, in turn, saves resources and costs.
This innovative solution with its high process reliability coupled with a configuration doing without complex robot systems makes this double blister packaging unit easy in production and simple in operation.
No time-intensive training sessions and instructions for operators are needed. Every operator is quickly able to operate these systems which have been designed for easy and uncomplicated use.
The Z.PACK-series is the ideal packaging machine for all non-food products such as stationery, batteries, tools, adhesives, bulbs, electric parts and much more besides. The Z.PACK machines are also the ideal choice for the cosmetics hygiene segment and for special blister packaging.
