The acquisitions of important new customers for Rome-based public relations company eprcomunicazione continue through its support of Corepla, the Italian National Consortium for the Collection, Recycling and Recovery of Plastic Packaging.

Corepla chooses eprcomunicazione for communications
Established in 1997 with the aim of ensuring the collection of plastic packaging collected throughout the country, Corepla’s aim is to encourage recycling and recovery of plastics packaging, as well as to educate citizens, businesses and municipalities in correctly managing end of life products.
Due to increasingly widespread activity of the consortium, which includes more than 2,600 companies (i.e. producers, processors, importers and recyclers/recoverers) over two decades, the plastic packaging collected and sent for recycling and recovery in Italy has grown exponentially. In 2018, 87.5% of all plastic packaging placed on the national market in the same year was recovered, enabling Italy to rank among the top large economies in Europe by recycling rate, after Germany and Spain.
eprcommunicazione Director Camillo Ricci said: "In the first two months of the year we reconfirmed all the contracts in place in 2019 and acquired 12 new customers. It is particularly important for us to support Corepla, a strategic player in the Italian circular economy and Italian excellence in Europe. The new relationship further strengthens our leadership in the field of sustainable development communication."
The third edition of the Corepla Research Days will be held on 13-14 May at the Mestre, Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice.
