The Jokey company has been producing packaging from post-consumer secondary raw materials since 1991. The processing of recyclates in this packaging is an important step for the circular economy.

Grey the new green for Jokey
JOKEY JETR range
After the launch of the ‘Gray is the new green’ campaign in 2018, packaging made from post-consumer raw materials from household collections is gaining increasing acceptance from manufacturers in the relevant non-food segments. An important development that makes a decisive contribution to the fact that the objective of a circular economy is now being implemented in practice step by step. With the JOKEY Euro Tainer JETR 105 this comes into its own because not only the packaging, but also the contents of JONAS Farbenwerke GmbH + Co. KG (partner in the development of the JOKEY Euro Tainer JETR 105) do justice to this focus.
The container is made from 100 per cent grey recyclates. Only the lid and bracket are made of ‘new goods’ in order to increase the safety in daily use of the packaging (safe to wear and multiple opening and closing).
Jokey is an international manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging with lids. Jokey produces plastic buckets, plastic cans, plastic boxes and plastic trays using the plastic injection molding process in 15 plants in 12 countries. The Jokey Group has its headquarters in Wipperfürth, Germany. With the Jokey Euro Tainer Rectangular JETR 105, the company took part in the PackTheFuture Award 2020 in the Eco Design category.
